The Nature Group cleared out those Hogmanay hangovers by spending the 2nd of January recording what birds and plants in flower we could see in the park.


Luckily it was fairly dry and mild and a good turnout of 20 hardy souls took to the park with their binoculars.


Stars of the show were a small flock of waxwings high in the trees by the Walled Garden opposite the hydro,


Our next outing will be for the Big Gardens Birdwatch - members keep an eye out for the email
