Saughton Park Recipe Book - Extended Deadline!

Deadline extended to Saturday 30th of November.


Would you like one of your recipes to be included in our new recipe book? If so, here are some guidelines to help with your submission:



  • send it to friendsofsaughtonpark@gmail.com with 'Recipe' in the subject line or Friends of Saughton Park, 8 South Gyle Road, Edinburgh, EH12 7RR.

  • the recipe should include at least one of the fruits and/or nuts listed below

  • use lb/oz or kg/g (no cups please!)

  • include cooking temperature and timings

  • please note we can't use straight copies of other peoples' recipes, but you can usually make little tweaks to make recipes your own!

  • it doesn't matter if your recipe is sweet or savoury or how simple it is

  • we'd love to hear why you love the recipe and any anecdotes you have about the park!

  • the deadline is now Saturday 30th November.
