also know as 'the birds and the bees' group - if you are interested in wildlife, conservation, sustainability and biodiversity then pop along to Saughton Park! We’ve seen Otters, Kingfishers and lots more in the park and we will be working to ensure the park is haven for wildlife and nature. Find out more about the what can be seen in the park here.
In the Nature Group we aim to learn, expand and share our knowledge and skills to enable us to observe, identify, help investigate and conserve all forms of life that live in or visit our park including plants, invertebrates, mammals and birds, that is so important for a healthy and thriving Saughton Park. If this interest you, whether you're a novice or an expert, you are very welcome to join us no matter how much or how little time you have spare.
We take part every year in the Big garden Birdwatch and recent activities include Otter spotting walks and buttefly talks.
