We cover the informal planting (trees and plants) outside the walled garden and the formal fruit and nut planting in the Rose Garden and around The Caley demo garden. The activities of this group include planning, planting and maintenance of the Wild Orchard by the Water of Leith to increase biodiversity and planning and maintaining the trained trees in the formal orchards. We have practical sessions, visit other orchards and run training where appropriate.
